does an Inspiron 519 has a built in sound card into the motherboard?

I am having issue with my audio and i am trying to find the root of the problem and i am thinking of switching out the sound card, but i need to know if the sound card is built into the motherboard or is it plugged in like the video card is.

    Most likely it is onboard. You can check by looking at the back of your computer. If the jacks are perpendicular to the ground with all the USB ports and onboard video then it is onboard. If it is down near where a dedicated video card would be the jacks are parallel to the ground, then you have a real sound card.
