What to argue in an essay on 'Hegemony'?
This is the question:
Write an essay that defines, describes and explains the concept of hegemony. Provide at least two examples of hegemonic thought. No more than one example should be drawn from readings/lectures; the other example must be your own. Be sure to explain how your examples constitute instances of hegemony (the answer should relate to media based Hegemony)
I'm not sure what to argue on the concept of Hegemony
It may be because I do not fully understand the concept itself
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated

Hegemony is about dominance over others. It can be dominance of one political power over a society, for instance, or dominance by one nation over others.
