** so Smoak got sent down, exactly what should happen to Belt (although he'll promptly start raking again for Fresno). even though Smoak's average is (was) significantly lower than Belt's, his 13 HRs would be tied for FIRST on the Giants!! so at least he has some power (Belt has 4 homers). he's been demoted anyway...
and i know Ike Davis is crap and Mets fans seem to hate him. understandable. but he's got 20 jacks! a bad 1B no doubt. but he has games, and even stretches where he looks like a big league ballplayer.
so officially right now, the answer is no. but the Astros answer does hold some water...

Smoak is now with Tacoma Rainiers...but if he was still up with the Mariners then yes he is the worst
