Black poo? Please help, im so worried?
Im a teenage girl, and my diet is not the best. Every so often (approx fortnightly), I get black poo. Its of normal texture, but its basically black. I havent been feeling the best latley (not due for my period for another 2 weeks) such as slight cramping, headaches, severe tiredness to the point that I might pass out and soreness (a blue vein is visable on my upper arm and it feels sore). I am really worried. Should I see a doctor? What could this be?
Also, I did a fitness test and my heartrate was around 100. I did a cardiovasuclar edurance test and barely msde the minnimum requirements due to chest pains and loss of breath.
Thanks

This predicament obviously demands an intensive exam through a certified scientific practitioner, now not a naturopath or a well being meals retailer worker. Omeprazol is used to regard gastric ulcers through inhibiting the secretion of belly acid, and is quite often mixed with a distinct antibiotic to kill the micro organism that intent belly ulcers. If your stool remains to be practically black after a fair healing interval, then your predicament demands additional research ASAP.

This could be caused by something you eat or by bleeding internally. The blue vein and your bowel movement are not related. See your doctor. You might try keeping a food journal and see if, after some time, what you eat and the black stools are related.

Some normal things people eat can do that to you. PeptoBismal makes your poop black for example. It doesn't seem like a big deal to me, you're probably fine. Just see if there's a pattern in your eating habits when this happens.

A black stool is usually indicative of blood in the stool. Blood in the stool is usually indicative of bowel cancer.
