Find the domain of the composite function ݂ f*g?

f(x)=x^2+5; g(x)=sqrt x-8

sqrt=square root

please show your steps on how to do this. Thank you.

    f*g=f[g(x)]= f(sqrt(x-8))=(sqrt(x-8))^2-8=x-8-8=x-16

    so domain should be -inf to +inf
