How much does a bicycle cost? How can I learn to ride and where can I learn biking rules?
I moved and need to bike to school. It's just two days a week but is about two/three miles one way. I tried walking today and it took about an hour. With a bike it should hopefully be a lot faster.
There isn't a lot of terrain. Just two smooth gradients that ride next to streets. But I need to know where I can find a bike that will suit my needs. Ideally I wouldn't spend a lot of money on it (as in, I don't want a very rigorous bike). I don't anticipate using it very frequently, just when I need to get somewhere fast(er).
I also would like to know how I can learn to ride (I'm 16 and have never ridden before) and where I can learn rules for road safety & how to use bike lanes properly.
Thank you!

ok...we had a splash relaxing including your early question. Now permit's get extreme. Many bicycle shops have instructions or instructions on a thank you to holiday. some can be loose. If that would not artwork, initiate by way of using a bike with the seat under commonly used so which you would be able to get you feet down right now. attempt to discover a flat & empty vehicle parking zone. extra sensible yet could be a grassy flat trimmed short. Then see if there's a small prone section. initiate on the precise & prepare only coasting your way down. initiate pedaling on the backside of the incline. as quickly as you have discovered to stability, improve the seat as much as the place it is going to be. All it takes is a splash prepare & staying power. proper saddle or seat top & shifting gears on the hyperlinks under. If old Hippie can do it, you may even. do no longer permit the old fart beat you! LOL :) :)

"Designated bicycle lanes" are not always "safe". All they do is provide a false sense of security until some fool in a car cuts you off or makes a right turn DEAD in front of you. The old "right hook".

Please note that in the videos - NO ONE rode in a "bicycle lane". A bicycle is a legal street "vehicle" in all 50 states, Canada & every country in Europe. If you NEED a good bicycle - see a REAL bicycle shop. If you want a piece of junk - discount stores sell "Bicycle Shaped Objects" in the TOY DEPT.!!
