If vegetarians and vegans can get to the top of their chosen sports,?

why do some people keep asking why we're all pale, ill and and hardly lift our weak listless limbs?

The only people I see saying veg*ns are all 'pale and weak' are trolls. Ignore them; they have no life, so they need attention from strangers on the internet.

Because one person isn't a representation of an entire community, that is terrible argument. Just because Brazier for example can be a world class runner doesn't mean his diet is optimal, the vegan athletes tend to also eat like horses even more so than meat eating athletes to ensure they are getting adequate nutrition & gain much more benefit from protein supplement shakes to complete the amino acid profile.

The fact of the matter is some nutrients are just more bioavailable when eaten from meat or animal products instead of plants. Zinc B12 & iron are all set at 1.5x the RDA for vegetarian & vegans, Vitamin D is unattainable unless from sunlight for vegans through diet similarly B12 has to be supplemented, iodine deficiency is high in the V&V community (80% & 25% compared to 9% omnivores), omega oils such as EPA DHA cannot be efficiently converted from plant sources. Vegan dietiticans who promote vegan diets even advise vegans to supplement with B12/Vitamin D & Iron tablets eg jack Norris (his website is great regardless of diet).

That being said. some people just like to wind others up with the pale anemic vegan stereotype.

So many people are ignorant about diet. They were raised according to meat = protein = strong bodies so therefore anyone who doesn't eat meat is missing some vital nutrients.

Because some veg*ns do not eat a well balanced diet. Just like meat eaters.

Source(s): Been veg for 23 years and there is nothing ill or weak about me.

Many ask probably just to wind you up.

Don't generalize as that is false most of the time

Because some vegetarians and vegans eat the wrong selections of food and wind up that way.

    And because bacon is great.
