Why do Americans have such difficulty understanding the subject of universal medical care?

When you lot started this debate I had some ill fated hope that at least a respectable % would understand the topic to begin the conversations --- But nope a crowd of Billy bob's crawled out of the wood work and took over from the outset of the doomed concept

If you are paying --- paying out of your pocket for insurance --- private semi private or Aunt Martha's broom stick and piggy bank for ANY services --- its not in any way universal -- Its not universal because those with the most money clearly have a better rank in the file of ability to pay

If you are legislated to purchase out of pocket expenses in ANY way --- you are living under a fascist merger of corporate entities who supply a service for fee backed by the wieght of the state and its power via the legislature

Money is just taken right out of the economy ---- for the armed forces -- Its a mandatory budget transfer out of a large section of taxes that go to support it

Universal health care ............... when applied in full places doctors and hospitals on the same taxation level of confiscating a portion of taxes to completely fund them --- just like the police

Its not that f--king hard unless your in a nation with the George and Obama show or the Obama and Romeny show or or or --

Now --- why is it that Americans seem to have so much difficulty with the subject ?

You are supposed to be educating Billy bob's and his masses of the great unwashed he calls drinking buddies NOT letting him lead the pack as the intellectual guru of the day

Most don't know that the Neo Con model that we keep repeating over and over with Panetta and Netanyahu with the badges and guns and WMD, is also another bloating of our new and different collective ideas. The ideas are distorted because they represent a "Noble Lie" to tell the Masses. The NeoLib lie is that the CBO has it under control LMAO! The NeoCon lie is the WMD paranoia. Both confuse the masses as we are fed propaganda by our respective parties that we have picked. But the real kicker is that the NeoCon does not believe in fact value. "I've already made up my mind, don't confuse me with the facts."

    Some good answers here.

I guess you're saying universal health insurance is now a mandate and as such a government tax.

That's how I view it, a takeover of the health insurance business, that's what it is, a business, which has been a private, but now the government is getting involved.

    Let's be honest.

You think healthcare is a service of the state to be delivered by the state and paid for by the state.

In America, we believe healthcare is a service to be delivered by the private sector and paid for by the individual because we believe that competition leads to better R&D, better Pharma, better quality care, better time to market for that care, better efficiencies garnered through the free enterprise system driven by a profit model, and lousy providers are pushed out in favor of better more effective providers of care.

We don't believe in non competitive government run monopolies. Go to one of our government run facilities for the indigent, the mentally ill, the elderly. This is what will happen TO ALL FACILITIES delivering healthcare when the government take over is complete.

They will be cesspools of misery, incompetence, waste, social agendas associated with race in hiring people, no accountability, no redress of grievances, no motivation or drive to improve quality or efficiency filled with corruption.

Our Medicare and Medicaid programs are filled with billions of dollars of corruption, waste, fraud, abuse, and misery making. Obamacare puts that model on steroids.

We can't pay for it, no one disagrees in principal, it's how it's paid for and the other things we have to give up for it.

Same with taxes, eliminate the waste, and then talk about what tax rate we should be at.

SASKATOON–The incoming president of the Canadian Medical Association says Canada's health-care system is sick and doctors need to develop a plan to cure it.

Dr. Anne Doig says patients are getting less than optimal care, and she adds that physicians from across the country – who will gather in Saskatoon today for their annual meeting – recognize that changes must be made.

"We all agree that the system is imploding, we all agree that things are more precarious than perhaps Canadians realize," Doig told The Canadian Press.

"We know that there must be change," she said. "We're all running flat out, we're all just trying to stay ahead of the immediate day-to-day demands."

You PROVED you don't know what "universal" means. It's ludicrous that you insult people who DO - but at least you also PROVED you're a leftist and that you consider yourself to be government PROPERTY rather than fully human.

No problem at all. I totally understand it.

Why do Canadians have a problem sticking their nose into our business? Why do we have to do what you do?

    WE DON'T WANT IT.
