Any ideas for raising the height of a bedframe to allow storage underneath?

The only thing I have came up with for an idea is cinderblocks with wood planks. Anyone out there ever done anything similar or have a thought that might be stable and not require me to become a woodworker?

They have these pieces at walmart and target that are specifically made to lift a bed. I forget exactly what they are called, but I know they do make these sturdy pieces that you put under each corner of the bed and it's stable.

Is your bed frame a metal frame with wheels? If so measure the leg closest to the frame you will need to remove the wheels or casters. You can go to Ace Hardware,Lowe's,Home Depot and get PVC pipe, cut the pipe to length, lift each leg place the extension on and be done very easy and cheap. My friend's wife had pregnancy problems and had to have her feet elevated I suggested this and it worked great.

We ordered a set to raise our bed from some catalog a few years ago. Can't remember which one. Lifts it about 6 inches. Maybe try Bed, Bath and Beyond?
