Is homosexuality a learned behavior or is one born with it?

I think one is born with it. Knowing fully about how society treats that 10%, why would any sane person wake up one day and decide to want to have sex with the same gender??

Idk where I found this article but scientists have discovered something pretty interesting... The human brain does not have symmetrical halves. One half is always bigger than the others. Scientists noticed that the left side of the brain is bigger than the other side if it's a male. The right side is bigger if it's a female. They did some research on some people, I think I remember the article saying that 90 people were guinea pigs in this research. Apparently the left side of the brain is bigger than the other side for women like it is for men, but those with the bigger left side are lesbian... Interesting huh? And gay men have a bigger right side of their brain as straight women also have. So I guess if these findings are true then gays are born the way they are. I guess it's just how there minds are wired.

Homosexuality is a common selection that's fairly very similar to meals personal tastes. Just as your mouth salivates while you become aware of your favorite meal, whether or not by way of sight or odour, a identical matters occurs while you become aware of an character. However, at the same time the mouth in general does no longer salivate, the genitals reply by way of both lubricating or hardening. While the urge of sexual arousal maybe organic, whom one is sexually interested in isn't, as that's determined by way of common personal tastes. By the way in which, correction, ALL sexual ACTS are found out *behaviours,* wherein sexual sights aren't found out, on account that homosexuality in step with-se isn't an act or a behaviour, however as an alternative a common organic stimulus. For instance, starvation is a organic stimulus, no longer a "behaviour." However, consuming to fulfil that starvation is a found out act. So while one will get sexy, that is certainly performed with out requiring competencies. But to have intercourse to fulfil that want, one will ought to *be trained* how it is performed, that is sensible for any organism.

why are people asking this all the time? do you really think that nature will make sure that you are born with all kinds of instincts for searching the best foods, not eating poisonous things, instinct of fear from predators, caring for babies and basically *every* instinct possible that makes you eat well, grow up healthy, preserve your life as much as you can and sustain your species, yet nature will leave sexual orientation undecided? who cares if the whole species go gay and die out! who cares if they are all straight, make babies nonstop and thus run out of food! It's silly to assume that nature is so fussy about every smallest detail of animals biology, yet it will leave up to animals themselves choosing (or accidentally learning) their sexuality - the basic principle of existence of all animal species that have genders. no.

I think that people are born straight, they could be homosexual or lesbian because they're either curios, or fell in love with the opposite sex. so I believe it's a learned behavior.

Either way, it's not a conscious choice. More than anything it's a combination of both.

I mean when I was two I stole my cousins barbies and played with them...but I also took their clothes off...so....neh?

It's certainly not a "learned behavior".

no one really knows, although the general consensus in the medical and legal world is that it is definitely neither chosen, nor 'curable'.

    learned.

if homos were honest (yeah, right) they would tell you that their first time was repulsive. alluring? yes, but repulsive and they were left with mixed feelings about it. like alot of things, when one reaction is suppressed in favor of another, it becomes easier.

the more the recruiters say its normal and natural, the less repulsion there is. thats why its becoming so common.

The inclination is inborn; the technique has to be learned!
