Federer-Sampras-one handed backhands...?

The new string technology allow todays players to put incredible amounts of top spin. Big top spin equals high bounce, which is always going to be difficult to handle for one hand backhanders.

The large majority of future top 10 players will be double backhanders just because of that. They won't have an obvious weakness.

I don't think that you need to have 1 handed backhand to be called great, yes federer and sampras have this type of backhand and they are great but that does not mean that agassi or borg or a nadal or a lot of other players who have the 2 handed backhand are not great, any type of shoot or technic does not make a category great , the person is the one who makes him self great , such as federer his one handed backhand is not what made him great it used to be "bad" and that's why most other players focus on when they play against him, he is great because every thing that he does is suitable for him... and for the women , you can't say that she should win over a man to be considered great she can be great in her gender.
