How about those gasoline prices necessarily skyrocketing again?

I read here two months ago these liberals insuring a 2nd term because Obamas policies were working. I didn't buy it then, certainly not now. Am I happy that they are going up? NO!!! I drive 130 miles a day.

Strange that. A few months ago Obama threatened an investigation into price fixing, etc. and prices dropped but now they are increasing dramatically and nothing further from his administration. Perhaps he hasn't noticed.

Gas prices always go up in July and August. Always. We actually had a unusual oil pricing season this year when gas prices rose in the spring but fell in the summer and now we are seeing moderate price increases in early August.

I know we like to think presidents can control oil prices but come on. I even defended Bush, whi was a nitwit, on this point when the peanut gallery came out and made the same whining about the same blubbering you are making now about Obama. Oil prices are dictated by the oil cartels and our domestic oil suppliers fall in line with the cartels' pricing. It has always been this way.

I love how you complained when the gas prices went up a few months ago, then complained when the prices dropped (as some political ploy) and are now complaining now that they're going up slightly (or as you put it skyrocketing) Is there a trend, or a price that you won't complain about? Tell us what it is, because I'm sure if the gas prices stabilize there, you'll still complain.

  • The high fuel prices are in accordance with the plan.

The elected royalty want we-the-serfs to live in mud huts and ride bicycles to work (if there even *is* any work) while they lounge in air-conditioned comfort in their stretch limousines and Gulfstream jets.

Spend, spend, spend. That is all they know. Tax to pay for it and spend some more. We MUST vote ALL of these rascals out of their cushy jobs and elect people who have a vested interest in our economy. The ultra-rich politicians have no idea how their constituents live. The politicos think that $30,000/year is "rich" yet some of them are worth that much each DAY.

Like the French royalty of the 18th century, the rich politicians desire only their own comfort.

"What? The people have no bread to eat? then let them eat cake!"

The politicians have come to believe that they are our masters rather than our servants.

    They are out of control.

It's time to vote ALL of them out of office.

We need to have a 'REMOVE INCUMBENT' option on the ballot.

Honestly? If they don't dive again before the Nov elections, it will be the first time in 20 years the didn't. Hopefully, that will lead to new means of INCREASING SUPPLY... I mean, just in case there are any questions re: whether demand isn't expanding like an eyeball in the vacuum of space.

    Skyrocketing?

Up 4 cents this week after dropping more than 50 cents the past 2 months.

I'd post an explanation of the GLOBAL oil market if I thought you would read it, but you are convinced Obama is responsible for everything that happens on the planet, so I won't bother.

And, yet....they are STILL $1.50/gal lower than when Bush was President. Maybe, the real problem is people that burn all the gas by commuting 130 miles a day?

High gasoline prices represent a campaign promise KEPT by Barry.

He openly threatened that his policies would "make energy prices skyrocket" but millions of suckers voted for him anyway.

Obamama doesn't control the gas prices..
