Well you can't simply 'learn everything' about comics without buying comics or wikiing it. I honestly wouldn't try learning everything about comics because there's so many of 'em and I'd probably have overload trying to. But watching almost any show containing comic characters will teach you a thing a or two. I recommend Batman the Animated Series,Superman the Animated Series, Justice League,Justice League Unlimited,Young Justice,Spectacular Spiderman,Avenger's Earth's mightiest heroes for animated shows. They're some animated movies of comics like Batman Year One,Batman Under the Red hood, Superman/Batman Public Enemies,All-star Superman,Superman/Shazam:Return of Black Adam,Wonder Woman,Justice League Crisis on Two Earths,Hulk Vs,and Planet Hulk . You could also try motion comics; I know Watchmen,Mad Love and Red Son have motion comics.

But I highly recommend try starting to read comics; I say just don't buy them right when they get out buy trade copies(collection of a comic story arc) or graphic novel and just buy one of those and just wait until you have enough money to get another one.If you try graphic novels/trade I recommend: Batman Year One,Batman:The Killing Joke,Superman All seasons,Superman Red Son,Justice League all seasons, Kingdom Come,The Infinity Gauntlet/Infinity Saga(These stories contain the villain that's going to be in Avengers 2 Thanos) and Civil War. Just to name a few. I know I listed alot but you honestly don't need to know most of this crap to get into it.They'll bring them up occasionally but it's your not going to constantly scratch your head why all of it doesn't make sense. With the DC's new 52 set everything back #1 last year(comics come out once a month we're only at #12s and if you buy it digitally on a idevice the #1s are 99 cents and if it's been out for awhile it's like a $1.99;Know it's still a decent 'mount of money but you don't need to buy them all at once) and Marvel's going to go with #1s in a few months but the best way to get into them is to go and buy one.

Well, there are free DC and Marvel applications for your phone which have some free comics, and some very cheap ones, but all of the comics (on DC, at least, I don't know about Marvel) are priced from $0.99 at least to $3.99 at most. On the DC application there are free "comic books" called "Batman 101" and "Superman 101" ect., which basically tell you everything you need to know about them, along with pages out of comic books and things...

Or really, you could just watch the movies. xD

Ok well there's an apps for that. I'm honest. Go to Marvel's official website or DC's and go to Wikipedia (regular wiki, not a fanmade).

The main differences between Marvel and DC is how they do their stories. DC usualy make their character die a lot, or just loose, because even with cool powers, we all have our downs. And Marvel is always doing stories of amazing feats and skills, over the top and a fantasy universe that is already well estabilshed.

Honestly, wikipedia is the simplest form. There are also a bunch of other super hero databases similar to wiki. Current ongoing tv shows would be Ultimate Spiderman and the new Avengers series coming up.

i in my opinion did a presentation in my DC English form approximately ask your self vs. DC because of the fact of actuality my term paper replaced into over ask your self Comics and our shows had to be maximum suitable in some thank you to our important subject bear in suggestions. in spite of everything, ask your self thoroughly owns DC in each section. Comics, video clips, characters, agencies. You call it! My nicely-beloved ask your self hero is The Hulk because of the fact of actuality he thoroughly owns actually every physique he fights and he has an apprehension/comprehend factor to truly every physique that knows him.
