How much does a distributor cost?

I need a distributor for me movie, and I'm wondering how much one would cost.

    If your movie is worth distributing they will compete for your business, getting the real players in the biz to even look at your film will take some real effort unless you are related or have friends in the business

    Enter it in free film festivals? maybe someone in a position to help you will see it, even if it doesn't win the prize

    put trailers on youtube and blog about them?
