American's/Canadian's?
Random question, but what do you think about the:
a) English Accent?
b) Scottish Accent?
Brave, a Scottish film is being released soon, will you be going to see it? Why/why not?
I know there's more than just the "English" and the "Scottish" ... just to shorten it. :)

I'm an American, and I cannot answer 'a)' because there is no such thing as "THE" English accent...there are all manner of English accents, from that of the educated classes to the Cockney, and regional variations, as well (Cornish, etc.).
I'm sure that the same applies to 'b)', though Scotland's educational system has been lauded, so perhaps that norms things more...but if you've got people who speak the old languages...that adds a twist, right?
I find these accents indicative of where someone grew up/lives/was educated...and thus some indication of them...but I don't consider myself an avoider or a fan of accents, generally (as long as actors/actresses get the accents RIGHT, then I don't care ;-).

A) I think an English accent is really appealing to the ears; It's just so nice, proper and cool when you listen to one. I can't help but feel calm and at peace when listening to it. It's my all time favorite accent. ^.^
B) I really adore the Scottish accent too. I love how they say words like 'Mourning'. I, personally, think it can be really nice on a guy. I don't know why but everytime I hear it it just seems to give off a happy vibe unlike the calm vibe the English accent give off. It's probably my 6th favorite accent. :)
Also, I never heard of it. I think I'll do some searching online though and go see it with my family. I'm curious about it with the title it was given and since it's an Scottish movie since I usually see American ones.

Presuming your British? I'm British, and I know you're asking for Americans and Canadians only, but I'd like to imput a little. I think the English accent is very broad: you've got the Cockney, Scouse, Essex etc. Each is very different. The Scottish accent is fantastic! I'll definitely be going to see Brave, it looks great, and hopefully it'll do us redheads some justice!
Sorry for not helping too much, here's hoping you find your answer! :)

They are okay as long as not so thick I can not understand what is said.
I thought Brave was a Pixar cartoon that is already in theaters which I am likely to watch when streaming on Netflix.
It depends more on what I hear if it is a good movie than what accents the actors use
