Can you understand the Scottish accent.

I'm from Glasgow. I've always wanted to go to North Carolina/Oklahoma/ Tennessee ... I'djust hate to go and people wouldn't understand me.

    Yes the scottish is a little hard to understand.

    I would suggest talking a little bit slower.

    If some people watch Craig Ferguson, they might understand you a little better

    UNC and Duke get students from all over the world. I live just a dozen miles or so from both and I don't think you will have much of a problem.
