Do youknow of a caller ID phone.....?

which registers in calling numbers without the usual seconds of delay and with has a clearly readable screen?

    A ring cycle is 2 seconds on and 4 seconds off. The CID data is transmitted between the first and second ring.

    How many seconds delay do you think there ought to be when the data can't be there before the 6th second?

    Caller ID data burst is sent after the first ring.....
