what is the best thing to do if i drop water on my pc .will it dry out ok after time .?

Just make sure u quickly disconnected d Power supply.. Let the water dry off.

It always does.. I hav dropped my phone in water, spilled water on keyboard.. all u hav 2 do in these cases is not to let d water spoil the circuits.. it may take 2 or 3 days to dry away sometimes.. to b on d safer side take some days time to switch it on :)

When you say PC do you mean a desktop? Did you pour water on the whole tower or just the keyboard? If it's just the keyboard then just turn off the power, Stand the keyboard in its side to allow the water to drip out. Let it stand for 3 days while flipping it once in a while. It would be faster if you wrap it in a paper towel or in a pillow case and put it in a box of uncooked rice.

If it's the tower, as always, unplug the power, open it up and check to see if the water got to the motherboard or any component. Dry it with a blower and leave it to dry on air for 3 days as well.

Well, first I hope it works when it dries but usually water damages some part of the pc especially the motherboard then you have to fix it, sorry.

If its not working now, it's not gonna work later. Once water gets into it, even when it's dry the damage has been done.

Give to a pc repair shop where they have special equipments

to clean & dry it. As there was once oil spilled on mine. They manage

to do for me.
