My friends like to sue people too much?
I am friends with a few people, and they are really great guys. We have had some great times together, but over the past year, its seems you cant have a conversation without a lawsuit coming into view. Defamation of Character from a parody video, copyright infringement from a made-up song. Subpoenas via Verizon for crank calls, the can't take a joke! I mean, they really just need to grow a pair and move on but they won't! Among others reporting harassment and cyber bullying because I wouldn't pick up when they video chatted me and claimed I was excluding them from "a group". What do I do?
I can't have fun. I can't make a joke or a jib jab or a parody or a you tube video, or just ignore them for a second! They are high school boys but they gossip and dramatize like middle school girls! Who wants to play "Who can get each other arrested first game?" or "Lets launch a prank call investigation"! They always claim its their parents doing if any problem gets too hot, and I don't want to be on bat terms with their parents either!
In the end, it always cools off. In the end, they are my friends and we forget it ever happened. Most people say I should get new friends, but they are all I have. My bottom line is- does anyone have and ides for how to cool them down? Or- if that do sent work perhaps a phone number of a good lawyer in the Philadelphia area...

Do their parents work for the government or something?...That's a bit over the top.
You should get new friends. Holding onto them because you have no one else is silly. You're only staying with them because you don't have anywhere else to turn, so they really aren't your friends. You're sticking with them for necessity purposes.
I don't think you can cool them down, that's how they are.

Hi Zach!
Maybe it would be different if you did not call their parents home at 1:30 AM!
Maybe it would be different if one of your friends was not a crazy hacker!
Maybe its just the ways in which you approach a situation thats the real problem.
