Recommended tab gone?

It's not gone; I'm stuck with it at the moment. I use a few different computers depending where I'm at, and it's been off-and-on on all of them over the past month or so.

As near as I can tell, it isn't popular. The fact that it can't be turned completely off is very annoying; which is why I made a comment about it on the blog (well actually 2 comments because the first one didn't show up right away) and suggest you do too: http://yanswersblog.com/index.php/archives/2012/06...

If enough people complain Yahoo! may improve it. You might have noticed that we haven't seen the "new" ratings system for quite a while. That was because of the feedback Yahoo! got about it.

It is in random beta testing as far as we know. I've never seen it at all, and hope I never do. You may be lucky enough to have fallen off the beta test list for now. If you want to make your opinion known to staff, post on the Suggestion Board on the ABOUT tab over the green bar so they can make a good decision about that option in the future.

It is being tested. I have never seen it myself.
