My whole family is homophobic and I'm gay. What should I do?

If they have a problem with it that is their issue! NOT YOURS. Try to surround yourself with people who will love and accept you for who you are no matter what!

Find people who aren't, that's what I did. My family is religious, so it didn't go well when my parents asked me if I was gay. My grades sucked, I was always locked in my room, and they asked, and I answered. Firstly, I find it funny the only part of your name is see is "straight", since you're as straight as a rainbow :P

My dad was pretty homophobic, but when my brother told him, he amazingly got a completely different attitude towards homksexuals, and, in time, accepting him completely.

But, that doesn't mean, while my dad was confused, he didn't say some bad, rude, "politically incorrect", and confused words to me.

If you don't think they'll accept you, I would wait till your out of the house to tell them.

And if that doesn't help you, just remember, every successful person in Hollywood is gay. Everyone. *tosh.0 refrence*
