The only thing i can think of that is NOT a hardware issue is the device driver (really unlikely) But anyway just to rule it out, do these steps
1) Open Control Panel
2) Open Device Manager
3) Check for any items listed with a yellow exclamation point or a red X. Yellow exclamation point means that there is an issue with the device or driver, Red X means it has been disabled.
If you do not see any yellow or red marks, then most likely this is a hardware failure. Laptops are notorious for having keyboard issues.
For a short-term fix, you will have to use a USB keyboard. I am typing on a USB keyboard for my own laptop right now because of how mine has seizures and types all sorts of random keys at high speeds.
Ultimately the laptop will work fine without the installed keyboard, but if it the laptop is still under warranty you will want to get that taken care of soon.

The connector to the motherboard could be loose, but on the majority of cheaper computers its just the quality of parts. Either need it replaced (if its not the mobo) or a new computer.
Can also try plugging in an external keyboard to be sure its not a driver that crashed (which is less likely)

I tried to do the battery trick but that did not work out for me. It was weird since everyone else said that it would work. However, if you close your notebook with the screen facing out and turn it off and back on, that works just as well...give it a try.

If you have a USB slot on your keyboard buy a usb keyboard cheap at walmart for example and plug that in and use that for the time being.

it can have died. once you have become no respones in any respect attempt hooking up a USB keyboard in case you will get your fingers on one. not in any respect heard of a key mix that thoroughly locks the keyboard.
