Make sure the pan is not deformed...remove the pan and lay a flat edge along the pan rails and check for any dents or warpage from overtightening...flatten them out or buy a new pan...use a cork or neoprene gasket and add extra RTV sealer if needed.. Are you sure a leak is coming from the pan?...the shifter shaft seal is above the pan on the left side which could be leaking or the modulator or fill tube seals on the right. Or the front trans seal is leaking and fluid is flowing down the front bellhousing area onto the pan. Spray the whole pan area and above it down real good with brake cleaner, then test drive and recheck for leaks...trace them back to source.
