Good letter to my grandma for her bday? please help!?

I really can't find words that are strong enough to express how much you mean to me and how thankful I am for all the things you've shown me through the years. I look up to you because you're caring, beautiful and strong. I was put in this family for a reason and was blessed in so many ways! Not to long ago about 15 years you and my mom flew to Romania to get me! I was to young to remember but I've heard a lot of stories. I'm so happy you were there with my mom to share that special moment of seeing me for the first time! I am also happy to celebrate March 21st with you and my mom! We've had so many good memories! One of my favorites was going on tilt a whirl with you at Canobie Lake. Another favorite memory with you was boxing on the wii and you got so excited you punched the tv, it was so funny we couldn't stop laughing! I remember you always use to bring me and jay to micheletti's restaurant when we were younger! Those are just a few amazing memories we've had together, and I cant wait to make more! We have a special connect you are my bff and I know I am your favorite! I hope you have an awesome birthday! I love you so much Grandma! <3

Don't delay. Saying thank you to someone should happen soon after the event, gift, favor or other action for which you're thankful. Etiquette demands that you observe a three-day rule for sending a thank-you note or letter.[1] However, it's always better to say thank you late than to never get around to it.

    2

Choose a format. An emailed or typed note may be faster, but a handwritten letter is generally more appreciated[2]. Judge the intimacy of your connection with the recipient, and choose accordingly - for instance, you might send a handwritten letter to your mother, but an emailed letter to your boss. If you're writing a letter by hand, choose a nice blank card or a sturdy piece of paper.

    3

Write a salutation. Most letters start with the greeting "Dear," but you can vary that according to the nature of the letter and the person you're writing it to. Know the recipient's title. Informal letters, to close friends or family members, can start with "Dear Dad" or "Dear Kyle." However, letters to business associates or people you don't know well should include a title in the salutation. Doctors, professors, government officials and military service members should all be addressed with their appropriate title spelled out in full, i.e. "Dear Doctor Johnson" or "Dear Sergeant Jones." Otherwise, use the abbreviated "Mr." for men, and "Miss/Mrs./Ms" for women (be sure to know which title the lady in question prefers. If you don't know, just use her full name, like "Dear Jane Smith").

    4

State your appreciation. If someone did something kind, tell them the effect it had on your day, week etc. If someone sent you money, tell them how you plan to spend it. If you are thanking someone for a gift, write about how you will use it. Pay little compliments, such as mentioning how perfectly a lamp someone gave you goes with your living room. Take this opportunity to write about something else you appreciate about the person. For instance, you could say, "It means a lot to me that you notice the important events in my life."

If you didn't like the gift, find something generally complimentary to say about it. For example, "Thank you for the warm thick sweater. It's great for outdoor sports."

    5

End the letter. Orient the end of the letter toward the future. For instance, you can say that you look forward to seeing this person again, or that you'd be pleased to repay the favor however you can. Add a closing such as "With love," "Affectionately," or "Yours" for close friends and family members; for business and distant contacts, use "Sincerely," "Cordially," or "Best wishes."

    6

Deliver the letter. Deliver the letter. This could be as simple as clicking "Send" on an email, or as complicated as delivering the letter yourself. For handwritten letters, sending them through the post is most common. Whatever you do, make sure it gets out in a timely manner.

    Example Letter

    Dear Aunt Jessica,

It was such a lovely surprise to receive the sweater you sent me. Your knitting talents are incredible, and I'm grateful that you took the time to make something for me. Purple is my favorite color! I'm excited to see you again next time you visit.

    Love,

    Jane
