I heard this weird noise in my house once, was it a person, the weather, or my dog?
When I was younger I heard this noise in my house and it sounded like the dog but I never heard him sound like that before-it didn't sound like panting, it sounded like wheezing, like a person. Was it someone outside or was it the dog? Or was it the wind? Just wondered what other people would think. Cus it didn't sound like him at all.
THAT'S WHY IT'S CALLED AN OPINION, DON'T REPLY WITH STUPID ANSWERS. YOU CAN HEAR THE WIND IN YOUR HOUSE OR IF SOMEONE'S CLOSE BY OUTSIDE, OBVIOUSLY.
Thank you. The bottom seemed to be the most helpful. We get a lot of bad storms sometimes but I wasn't sure. I looked at the dog, too, and his chest wasn't going up and down and his breathing wasn't heavy and his eyes looked fine.

I bet it was someone outside. If you checked without really opening things then my answer would be either the wind or something fell in another room. Hope I helped.

EDIT: Look I agree with the above. Why are you here to judge our answers if it's an opinion? Although we can hear wind or other sounds, how do you expect us to predict the sound YOU'RE hearing.
Common sense doesn't work with guessing the sound of air you can't hear from a home maybe 1000 miles from here.
