Are female athletes more likely to have difficult pregnancies or childbirth, because of their body-shape?

Typically men are better at running and throwing than women because their body shape is more streamlined. But many female athletes tend to have a more masculine body shape. Does having a narrow pelvis have a detrimental effect on pregnancy? I am just curious.

Update:

But doesn't pelvic cavity depend on the bones?

No. Actually Women that are more athletic tend to have easier childbirths. When you are pregnant your hips widen to get ready for the birth anyways... so having narrow hips doesnt really matter unless you are really petite.

No, female athletes do not have different skeletons than other females. Their muscular physical condition probably makes child birth easier, not harder.

It certainly does not change their pelvis.
