2012 Mazda 3 or Nissan Altima?

Assume until you drive both its a tie. What should begin to cause separation would be the customer's experience living with the automaker. I would get a good feel on nice road, rough road, curvaceous slopes and in wet weather which ever one gives you the most confidence and makes you smile, then that's the one. Nissan and Mazda have very good track records, neither has a weakness to cause one to choose over the other, guess you have to drive and figure it out. Smile.

The Mazda 3 is more fun to drive, better looking in my opinion, handles better, gets better gas mileage, has a nicer built/higher quality interior, offers more features, has a higher resale value, and is cheaper brand new. It also has better overall reliability ratings.

The Altima is more powerful, more spacious, larger, repair is a bit cheaper.
