Can Dip tobacco cause Laryngitis?

I've been dipping for a little over a month now and I just got laryngitis yesterday so I wanna know if dip is the reason I got laryngitis.

Probably, but if it doesn't go away in a week, then I would guess it's from the tobacco and not a virus.
