I'm making a youtube channel for workouts and fitness, what would people like to see?
I'm currently in school to become a personal trainer, and I'm going to start my youtube channel to show work outs and get as much information out as I possibly can. I'm not the most ripped, biggest, or best in shape guy in youtube so I'm not trying to come across as that. My main idea was to have it be a "Journey" with my viewers, were we get in better shape together.
Thoughts?

There are a lot of channels showing how a fit and strong person would do certain exercises and workouts. There are very few that show how a beginner would make the transition from a couch potato to ripped. Show how to get there, not just what it's like once you're there.
If it's a journey, help people with the first step.

I really love that journey idea! That's a great motivator. Especially when Subscribers see that you guys making workout videos are real people too! LOVE it.
Personally, my favorite workouts are yoga/dancing/martial arts sorts of things. I guess just try to do something that's more fun and engaging, that's what I like. :) I easily get bored of the repetitions where the instructor just shows you over and over and over and over and over how to squat or do a sit-up.
Get creative and make it "you" -- don't try to do what everyone else does. Teach us the way you feel YOU would be most motivated, since this is a journey that you'll be on as well.
I'm excited to see what this turns out as. :)

Well don't be like charleyjames on youtube. She's a slut (in my humble opinion) and I would hope if your a guy; not to be ummm sluty in some form of male way... lol But yeah I guess that's just my $ .02 for you...

make like a calendar type stuff,like week 1 show us how much you can bench,squat,run a mile,etc..Then weeks later show us how much you gained/changed since then.

the proper way to do excercises...i cant tell you how many people i see doing everything wrong...and alot about eating, bulking and dieting (not many people talk about the proper way to bulk)
