Advice on using a film camera?
Anyone know any good websites/ books that show you how to use an old slr film camera?
Or any tips on shutter speed and focus etc.
Thanks :)

You might also want to check out the Photography page at my site, including "depth of field," etc. Most of it was written or collected before digital cameras (and I used film cameras a lot):
http://glassattic.com/polymer/photography.htm
There should be links there that will take you to other good places as well, but may have to dig around.
Actually, that camera isn't even an SLR though good lens, etc. Check out some of these links about it:

You might even be able to get a manual for it:
https://www.google.com/search?q=kodak+retinette+1a...
...and also check out
https://www.google.com/search?q=old+cameras+how+to...
You can also find info on using those kinds of older non-automatic cameras from older people who used them in the 60's and maybe 70's and before. Since automatic SLRs and digital cameras came along, most "photographers" know very little about them.
You could also check Amazon and eBay for some of the older books put out during those years. Or the library may still have some of them.

Many community colleges offer classes in photography or there are on line courses like this.

I think my nephew used this program.
