why do people hate the transformers movies?

from what ive been reading online it seemes like EVERY ONE thinks theres a problem with the movies(by michael bay). it might just be the type of people who have problems with most movies(the kind of people who dont like ANY movies) but ive also heard it from other transformers fans. so i want to know why people hate them so much.

The action sequences are so poorly directed. The cuts are so quick you cant follow what is going on. Also why not show fights between 2 robots from a distance, rather than in close up which again makes it impossible to follow what is going on. Michael Bay needs to understand that sfx cant carry a movie on their own. Another problem is the glaring plot holes and the way the films treat the viewer as a 3 year old. Look at the 2nd film, the heroes are in Petra, Jordan. Then a quick jog later they are in Cairo, these two places are about 500 miles apart. But the film relies on the fact that the viewer knows nothing about geography. The way Michael Bay makes films is so wonderfully sent up in Team America.

I dont get it either i watched the g1 series just this year beacause i wasent born back when it origannly came out and i personally liked it a whole lot better then transformers prime and animated but i love all the movies especially the second i dont know why the fans dont like it im guessing they want the anime type of movie. I think that the fans that didnt like the michel bay movies (transformers only) are the type of people that dont like changes in life for example instead of red sidewipe now hes silver im ok with all the changes michel bay has done so far just as long hot rod or rodomuis isnt there .

Michael Bay is always over the top with explosions and action. It seems to be nonstop action and cheesy dialogue with him. I mean so much action that a Call of Duty game gets compared to a Michael Bay movie.

I don't hate them, but thinking about them makes me very depressed. They are cool in that I love action sequences and doomsday plots, but really they did very little for the transformer's characters. It's less of movie about alien robots, and more about people -reacting- to alien robots. I understand that they need human characters to help the audience relate, but I don't watch the movies for the humans or their romance.

    I want some slagging robots.

The Cybertronians had little to no character development, and they didn't have as much "human" qualities as the shows do. We -do- get some sense of camaraderie in the second movie and showing of emotions in general, but that isn't enough. They delivered the war-hardened soldier personality that many have, but I found them lacking in the sense of vengeance and overall love department. We got awful romance subplots instead, and too much pointless fighting.

tl:dr The movies had too many explosions and not enough robo feels.

Did enjoy the first one though.

I enjoyed the first one because it set things up. The two sequels sucked because they didn't focus on the transformers, they spent more time with the humans.

When I see a move about Transformers I expect them to be the main focus and get the most screen time,

Although many people loved to look at her, just as many people don't like Megan Fox, she rose and fell extremely fast in Hollywood. She was touted as the next Angelia Jolie, but women like Olivia Wild, Melissa George, among others are 20x the actress. She is only in movies because of her looks...

It's just one of those movies that are pooped out that have only special effects and a hot love interest with basically a terrible story and bad plot.

Because they're so lame they crapped them out like every 3 months it seemed like.
