Is a Geforce GT630 the cheapest graphics card to play most games?

Not necessarily normal settings, but able to play at playable frame rates in the most part; like BF3 at low settings, or maybe even GTA IV low, for example.

Also, this would be with other budget hardware.

Would recommend it but what I will recommend is the amd radeon 6670 ( ddr5 version will cost a bit more so ddr3 maybe) because it will play BFF on normal graphics smoothly and it costs practically the same.

Tri I please learn what you are talking about. CPUs have very little to do with frame rate unless you don't have a video card or you have a slow card and are having your cpu handle the pysx.

Like meantioned before $ for $ the best card you can get is a HD 6770 ($60). In benchmarking it is about 10 cards better than a 630.

If you don't mind used you might be able to scoop up an older top tier DX10 card cheap.

    ATI HD 4870x2

    ATI HD 4850x2

    Nvida GeForce GTX 295

These are just a few. They where the strongest cards 3 or so years ago. I've seen them on ebay for under $100. They are about equal to a gtx 570 or HD 7850

You need a good processor for frame rate, mate.

I'd recommend a Quad Core or an i3 for maybe Low settings on both of them.
