If I pay the advance principal on my mortgage each month will it paid in half the time?

Paying the next months principal each and every month I was told would cut my mortgage time in half. If so, please give me a site to go to.

well you dont say how much you're going to give them.

if you're gonig to hand over two payments a month for the term of the entire mortgage, sure

it will...cut it by 50%........ any extra dollars s;ubmitted is applied to principal outstanding...

and reduces the interest expense each month even if you cant send em two payments a month..

it helps with less money you will owe them in interest expense. you have to determine what

you can swing in sending extrea money to them

I don't know if it's half, but it's a huge chunk of time you will cut off from the term of the loan. It's a great idea if you can afford it. Just make sure that the additional amount is applied to principal and not next month's payment.

Very close. Visit bankrate.com. I have paid off 4 30 years mortgages in about half of the time doing the same thing. Of course, a couple of those homes were rental properties.
