Nexplanon (AKA implanon) birth control implant side effects?

I had the implant put in 3 days ago. It bruised really badly and now it hurts everytime i move my arm a certain way. It's like a sharp burning sensation... It kind of feels like they placed it on my nerve or something. Is this normal? Will it quit once I get used to it being there? Or should I talk to my doctor about it? Thanks for any help :)

I've researched implanon for the reason that i am pondering of getting one put in. I've read you can have irregular bleeding on it, even whatever appearing like a period. Google it and in finding the brand's internet site, they have to expose all part effects. Other than that, talk to your health practitioner if you're concerned.

I had it and had some bruising but didn't really hurt. Could be they placed it wrong. Sure, call your doctor. All they can say at worst, is it's normal.
