Is Skyrim for PS3 still broken? Even after all the patches?

I'm looking at it on amazon.com and people are saying that there are glitches keeping them from completing quest, lag, and freezes occuring on the PS3 but i heard if they fixed all of that skyrim would be a great game, but i don't want to buy it unless it's fixed.

Update:

When you answer tell me how many hours you have on the game because, i hear it takes until 100 hours for the problems to start.

Well, all 3 platforms Skyrim is on still have plenty of glitches, even with 5 or 6 patches released. So no matter which system you buy it for, there will still be a risk of bugs and glitches. It's just not as bad as it used to be, and it's still a great game anyway. And part of it is luck. You may go through the whole game and only hit a couple of minor bugs. A few poor bastards get hit with a bunch of the really annoying ones. But's rather unlikely that you'll encounter a ton of bugs while playing. I play on the Xbox 360 (I know its not PS3, but it should be close enough), and I've only ever run into 1 major bug, and about 3 minor ones I don't give a **** about. And you could always try it on PC, since the PC version has console commands that often let you get around the bugs you may run into.

Source(s): Play time: 150+ hours, level 61, and that one major bug I said happened a lot earlier in my game than 100 hours

I agree with Zak. The bugs seem to be hit and miss. But I do think that most of the major bugs have been fixed by the updates. It's pretty safe right now to get the game for PS3.

Naturally it's best on the PC because PCs can handle the high-performance stuff, and because u can bypass bugs and glitches with the command console so they don't break the game (or quest).

I don't play consoles, but I have two friends who have the game on PS3. Both of them experienced a lot of bugs but they both say the game is playing mostly fine now since the updates. Believe me, I would hear them complaining if they were experiencing any major bugs.

From what i'm collecting you’re referring the tremendous body cost drop that takes position after an hour of prolonged play on the PS3? i'm truly particular that has yet to be resolved, and Bethesda is not any in route of determining why it is in undemanding words occurring of the PS3 and in no way the Xbox 360. For those of you who do not recognize the game for some reason directly drops in body cost after about an hours properly worth of interest play slowing the game down so immensely it makes it no longer accessible to play forcing PS3 customers turn of their consoles and restart, purely to have a similar decelerate ensue an hour later. with any luck they're going to locate the answer to the body cost drop quickly as they're dropping loads of PS3 Skyrim sales. As for the different such issues as damaged quests, merchandise and NPC insects incredibly some the bigger ones will be fixed with coming patches, maximum of them gained't, semi-threat free and or humorous insects are hallmarks of a Bethesda video games and could continually be there even if we adore them or no longer.

I play on the ps3 and I've had no glitches that I can remember (most likely just minor ones) and I've played well over 100 hours.

I've played Skyrim on PS3 for a while now and it hasn't glitched for me yet. From how much I've played glitch-free, I would say it's pretty safe to buy it for PS3.

Source(s): Own it. Play it. Love it.

I've got it for the PS3, but I never have those problems. The only glitches I've encountered are floating objects. Usually useless things.

They still exist. Get it for PC or 360 instead.
