Who uses yahoo instant messenger? Is it true that it is easy to scam someone by using it?
I ve been told that people use yahoo instant messenger to scam people is that true. I dont understand how anyone could get your personal contact info unless you gave it to them and any form of internet communication can do that. Am I safe using yahoo instant messenger? I know that sounds dumb but I am very new with technology and ive heard horror stories about identity theft.

I use yahoo messenger. I always have and so far not had any trouble being scammed. The main thing is just don't click on a web link unless it's from someone you know. I feel that it is safe as long as you chat with people you know. And of course never give any of your personal information unless you know for sure that it is
a reliable source.
