how the hell did China get another medal the day After the Olympics were over?

as of last night's closing ceremonies, they had 87 medals. but somehow today they were awarded an 88th somehow

    Belarusian women's shot put gold medallist Nadzeya Ostapchuk has been stripped of her title after failing a doping test.

    The revised result for Women's shot put final is now:

    Gold - Valerie Adams (New Zealand)

    Silver - Evgeniia Kolodko (Russia)

    Bronze - Lijiao Gong (China)

    Hence China gained one!

    As Lucy says Nadzeya Ostapchuk was stripped of her Gold Medal after failing a dope test.
