Am I gay, because I'm really confused?

Well, you're certainly not going to know in a day. You're 17 and you're still discovering who you are. As of now, you know two important things: you have some type of attraction towards men and you're not attracted to girls. It sounds like you might be gay, but that's okay, no need to get worked up about it. Go to your library and educate yourself on the matter. This is just all probably new to you and you don't know what to make of it.

It's the way you're born, you're the only one who will ever really know.

Give it some time, you're still pretty young, some people come out when they're in their late 30's.

If you feel like you'd be happier with a guy, then that might be the way to go.

I have a cousin who is gay and he dated a few girls before he came out but he said he knew the whole time that he didn't like girls. I think you are just going through some confusion but if you think you'd be happier with a guy, i recommend trying it. If you don't like it, it doesn't mean you aren't gay it just might mean he wasn't the right guy but don't worry, there is NOTHING wrong with being gay!!!

It's actually a bit strange that you aren't sexually attracted to men already if you are, indeed, gay. I'm not sure why you think it will change, but if it does, then you obviously would be considered gay. If you aren't sexually attracted to anyone, it's very possible that you are asexual, and that's okay!

no i think u feel attracted to a guy that way because u might have had a harsh memory with girls of have a misconception that girls are bad.. if ur not sexuallyy attracted to a guy u can't be gay.. and being emotionally attracted may be because of feeling of friendship or that u are more comfortable in front of boys and shy with girls,,, hangout with girls more often and u will know

My advice is to just give it time. I'm sure you'll figure it out. :) And if you meet a nice guy who is interested maybe try dating him. Just don't be afraid and eventually you'll find yourself.
