Cannot Connect Wirelessly?
Of course, I'm new with Linux, and still getting the hang of everything as I've just installed the Ubuntu OS not too long ago.
Wireless is turned on via the switch, the laptop can find the ID, but it cannot connect with the security; WPA/WPA2. Previously, it did connect wirelessly with no security, however, it would drop off within minutes.
What information do you need, and how do I go about getting it?

Open the terminal and input :
sudo lspci -vv | grep -i wireless
You will get something like :
04:07.0 Network controller: Ralink corp. RT2760 Wireless 802.11n 1T/2R
Subsystem: Linksys WMP110 v2 802.11n RangePlus Wireless PCI Adapter
This will tell you what the wireless chip is. From here you will be able to get further help.
