How to get rid of Genieo for Mac?
I was trying to download something and then my computer asked me to install Genieo, so I thought I neede Genio to install what I wanted to install. So I installed Genio and it changed the home page on all my browser's and has this thing callled start pins. I didin't like this so I went to Finder and clicked on uninstall Genio, and it said that it uninstalled. It didn't show up in Finder anymore, so I thought I was rid of this, but, when I went to firefox it was still there. I went to Safari. Chrome and Opera and it showed up on them too. What do I do? How the f*ck do I get rid of this?

I agree! It should be against the law for a product to literally enter your system and hijack YOUR OWN PERSONAL CHOICES and then make it difficult to revert it all back TO WHERE YOU WANTED IT TO BE IN THE FIRST PLACE. Genieo is an unscrupulous, bullying product and should change its creepy tactics.

If I want a "personalized newspaper", I will sign up for it. I work on my computer for a living and do not need to waste time by over and over being led to such nonsense while I am trying to be productive.

I just LOVE how the Genieo faq page referenced above is down for maintenance? This is RUBBISH.
