Christians are you ashamed of the Westboro Baptist Church?

They simply call themselves Christians, they are not behaving in the manner of Christians. I can go in my driveway make vrooming sounds and say I'm a car, that doesn't make me a car.

I'm ashamed of them on the scale of we share a gene pool.

Yes. No matter what they claim they are NOT Christians. Christians FOLLOW the teachings of Christ. Buddhists FOLLOW the teachings of Buddha. If I call myself a Buddhist but I kill in the name of Athena. I'm not a Buddhist. just claiming to be. Same goes for any set of beliefs.
