1 AnswerChemistry8 years agoWhat would a planet around an orange star be like?
Lets say there is a planet with life on it around the habitable zone of a K type star. How would it be different from a G type star like our sun?
3 AnswersAstronomy & Space8 years agoThe world you know will be no more?
I have a message from God.
"The world you know will soon be at an end. Mans structures, machines will be nothing but dust and mankind will be ashes. A new species will reign as you have corrupted the soil and filled the rivers red with blood." Well are you scared now? I found a napkin with this written on it at Starbucks.
2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoYou have nothing to fear Humans?
1 hour I was sitting and meditating and then all of a sudden I became paralyzed. I then heard a voice say the following. "You are safe, you have nothing to fear from us. Joy, happiness, peace, love, tolerance and knowledge will be presented to you in time and your ever giving desire to be set free from the shackles of hate, anger, envy, poverty and sorrow will be granted" I then was able to move at which point I cried because I never experienced anything like this.
What happened?
I am an atheist
4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoCan a gas giant planet have a gas moon orbiting it.?
Like could a 5x the mass Jupiter planet have a 12x the mass Earth moon orbiting it? or is there not enough material for that in star systems?
4 AnswersAstronomy & Space8 years agoHow can we see meteors?
They are only the size of basketballs or less and they enter the upper part of the atmosphere. How can that be visible? I can barely see the engines on a jet 30,000 feet high.

7 AnswersAstronomy & Space8 years agoHi im transgender and im wondering something?
Hi im Kate and im a 18 year old trans girl who is 6 months on hrt. When I was at the mall I witnessed these to 40ish old trans women with overly done makeup and them both wearing ball gowns in the middle of American Eagle. I laughed when I saw them cause they kind of looked ridiculous. Was that wrong of me or should I have had more compassion.
4 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender8 years agoWhat would happen if the air was above waters boiling point?
Lets say the temperatures were 230 degrees F. Would there be bubbles on the surface? Id imagine the whole ocean wouldn't boil at the same time because can be 36,000 feet deep and it averages 10,000 feet deep and it is cold at those depths. So would it just be the surface that bubbles or something? Lets also say that the day time temperature was 230 degrees F and the night time temperature were 150 degrees F what would happen then? Would it remain liquid?
4 AnswersEarth Sciences & Geology8 years agoWhat would happen if the temperature was 500F degrees?
for 20 seconds? Would we still survive and would the oceans immediately boil?
8 AnswersAstronomy & Space8 years agoWhy do people laugh at how i pray?
When I pray to God this is how I do it.
Step 1. I wear a business suit then go in the middle of the woods and stand under a tree for 1 hour.
Step 2. I toss sage in the air 3x to cleanse the air around me.
Step 3. I pour a mixture of baby oil and wine on my head to cleanse myself of sin
Step 4. I walk around in a circle 10x around a pine tree saying the lords prayer
Step 5. I give some bread to the local wildlife as the re all Gods creatures and I give thanks.
People make fun of me for this and im wondering why? It seems pretty normal and im sure some people do this.

4 AnswersGlobal Warming8 years agoCould Super Earths have formed in our solar system?
Could Super Earths have formed in our solar system and then got ejected out of the solar system. Im asking because it seems that alot of solar systems seem to have Super Earths in them. Im also wondering why our solar system has such limited debris? Ive heard that some solar systems have 10x the amount of debris as ours.
4 AnswersAstronomy & Space8 years agoCan A type stars have planets with life around them?
Can a later A type star have a planet with life around it. It is my understanding that a later A type star can last up to 1 billion years in the main sequence. So it could be possible that simple single celled life could thrive on a planet around a later A type star even if its for 100 million years right? I doubt it would reach multicellular life.
4 AnswersAstronomy & Space8 years agoShould the Christians of today share the responsibility of those in the past?
When i see Christians today i see them just as responsible for the Christians of the past or murdered and tortured people to get what they want. The Christians of today are just as guilty because they believe in the same thing. Agreed?
