To say that the Christians of today believe in the same thing is... well, twisted in a way. Way back when, they believed in burning people at the steak for not sharing their beliefs. They do not believe in that today.

Yes, many of them still shun you or chew you out for not sharing their beliefs... but there aren't many who will actually kill you for that.
