What would a planet around an orange star be like?

Lets say there is a planet with life on it around the habitable zone of a K type star. How would it be different from a G type star like our sun?

I guess plant leaves would be a different colour to absorb different light.

The inhabitable orbits would be closer to the star than with our solar system so there is a possibility that the planet woulld be tidal locked to the star especially considering that it may be a much older planetary system. Being older also means fewer heavy elements. I would suspect a water planet to be more likely then a mostly terrestrial planet.

Not different at all. Perhaps a little closer to the star than the Earth? But not a LOT closer, as that causes problems.

Remember, a star will appear WHITE to the eye... NOT Yellow, NOT Orange, NOT Red, unless its a Giant or Super-Giant.
