Is it a good idea to write a story in an exercise book or computer?

I want to write in a notebook but i want to check if it is a good idea or not.

Please help thanks alot!

    I prefer to write on the behinds of women of ill repute. And I won a golden globe.

    You might find writing on a notebook allows for more portability, that you find it helps you think perhaps, so it's not a terrible idea. However, sooner or later the story would need to be typed if you had ambitions to publish (publishers don't usually accept hand-written manuscripts). Even if you're not going to publish - it's easier to re-write and edit on a computer. You might want to use the notebook to jot down ideas, passages etc but do most of the writing on the computer.

    It is easier to write in an exercise book because it is proven that it helps let all your ideas flow out and use your creativity more than on a computer but if you prefer using the computer because you find it more comfortable use a computer. It depends which one you use more and if your writing like a story its better to write in an exercise book :)

    I like to do the first draft by hand then type up the second and edit along the way.
