100 percent pure coolant will freeze at just more than negative 20 degrees.

It's not really the freezing you should worry about.
It's the heat removing properties of the coolant and a 50/50 mix removes more heat from the engine than straight 100% antifreeze.
BTW, impatience isn't a very desirable trait for a person that has asked the question.

!00% ethylene glycol will turn slushy at around 0 F. A 50-50 mixture is good to somewhere around 30 or 40 degrees below Zero Fahrenheit. There are a lot of variables with anti corrosion additives, less than 100% solutions being the current "norm" and other contaminants in water and the cooling system. You will have to read the suggested mixture/freeze point on your individual coolant container.

If you use 100% straight antifreeze in your car it will "F" it up! If you don't want to mix it your self buy the pre mix!
