I don't know, why are you asking this question? Wouldn't it be quicker to Google it?????????

Okay, so some people are just lazy and want more work for themselves by asking common questions that can be answered through a simple Google search. However, others might have such specific questions that Google can't even help them, or they're having trouble finding the information. I think you're generalizing all people that use Yahoo Answers.

To annoy and get answers from real live human beings who are sick and tired of answering this question over and over and over and over. Google and other search engines use COMPUTER programming that matches keywords in your search phrase to millions of web sites VERY quickly. Do you want an answer from a real live human being, or from a computer program? That's why people ask question on YA, because real live human beings MIGHT take the time to render you a service by answering your question. All that human being gets for spending their time answering your question is a two point reward.
BTW, Google BOUGHT Yahoo Inc. last November (2011). Yahoo is a subsidiary business of Google. When your competitor has been in financial trouble for YEARS, like Yahoo Inc. has been, a business just buys their competitor if and when your offer is accepted.
