Mercury villager cuts off after 10-15 mins?
My parents have a 2000 mercury villager. It will run fine for about 10-15 minutes, but will then start puttering and stall out whether its being driven or just idleing. If they wait a while it will start back up. But if they try to start it after cutting off, it just cranks and cranks. The fuel pump can be heard coming on and the shut off swith does not engage. Someone said its the catalytic converter but im not sure. Please help.

It might be a bad ignition module.

i'm with Tiscali yet had an identical situation. I found out what the prob became even with the truth that. It became to many stuff dealing with an identical container. I had my the residing room telephone, mattress room telephone and modem all set up through an identical extension container. attempt re-arranging your line set up. It labored for me and a pal who had an identical prob. solid success.
