Is there a college for Web Design in PSD but no Programming?

I want to attend an online college for Web design ONLY, meaning just the Photoshop part of it , not Programming or at least no programming beyond HTML. Programming jobs are monotonous because one agency wants joombla, css, ajax, whatever, I can't remember all that. I don't want to do nor really learn the programming part and there are lots of jobs out there that will pay you good money just to DESIGN PSD, NOT code! even if it's just an associates degree, does anyone know of an online college, New Horizons? it must be accredited.Thanks.

web design requires at least HTML and css since css is how most of the design is layed out if u mean just draw what website should look like think ur more thinking of a illustrator (Work pretty much non existent) ,

in this day and age Web design basicly means HTML5 , javascript and css must usually you are also expected to know how the servers works and write basic back end stuff depending on the size of project you may be expected to do it all you dont hire a separate server scripter to write a basic email script and few update time labels in php\java\.net\ruby\ the other half dozen on + side you dont need know um all basics of 2 or 3 usally enough very few servers on earth that dont allow all to behonest so you can just take ur pick of 1 your most comfortable with the reason why you need to know since if you don't know how the back end works how can you design the web pages if you dont know its limitations

    bk to non script bit

for example a job to design a 15 page website working with a few simple scripts would be about £500-£1000 depending on what you wanted deadline 3-4 days , to draw 15 pages deadline 6 hours £40 in my experience. you wont make much for the layout and majority of people that want websites have roughly 80% mapped out in there head what they want it to look like etc so why pay some one to draw it and another person to make it, u may make money from actual design off banners and logo's for web pages but like i said there illustrators dont have WEB anywhere in there name

    http://www.sessions.edu/certificate-programs/digit...

is a paid course does photo shop illustrator and many others and Accredited online design school

note it says digital arts not web

    there web design course requires

"ourse topics in the Professional Certificate program include coding in HTML5 and CSS3, developing Web sites with Adobe Dreamweaver, creating Web site mood boards, designing Web graphics, and building interactivity with JavaScript and jQuery. Advanced Certificate students take these skills to the next level with advanced Web courses, Flash design, or other concentrations with topics in ActionScript 3.0, e-commerce design, Internet marketing, and more."

like i said if you dont no css html and javascript your not a web designer your a illustrator

on + side tho means you can draw logo's banners etc for websites but also do drawings for games tv shows newspapers magazines etc your not limited to websites which is a good thing

I think you are looking at this all wrong and you answered your own question.

Photoshop isn't really a skill anymore and working with PSD files is something soccer moms can do.

If you want a job outside in the real world you need to at least learn the basics of PHP and MySQL which is what Joomla, Drupal and WordPress use. Outside of that you will have to learn HTML and CSS fully to make your customers happy.

PSD files don't work for SEO since they are going to produce strictly images and layouts.

But, ultimately if that is the route you want. Go to school for 1 year in Graphic Design.

Yes and No. You kinda could, but as soon as you wan't it to be more technical then that's when it gets expensive, if it is static simple then it can be cheaper. Cheap web companies always have there ways they will always say starting at $200.00 all the time its more then that.
