11 weeks, bleeding and cramping?

12 hrs ago, my lower back began to ache. Not long after this I started cramping. I later noticed some bloody mucus on my underwear. Before I went to bed the cramping (intermit., spasm like that comes and goes) gradually got stronger. I was awakened with strong cramping and Im bleeding more. Folks, Im not a doctor but I think this is the onset of a miscarriage. Your thoughts? Im requesting that responses be limited to individuals who have had miscarriages.

Update:

I hit the nail on the head, folks. Went to the ER and discovered that my baby had stopped developing at approximately 8.5 weeks. They gave me the option of having a D&C or going home and taking the time to naturally expell the fetal matter. I opted for the surgery.

Something to consider: Perhaps these factors or symptoms are usually not indicative of an impending miscarriage but I find them odd:

At 7 weeks, I had developed a very annoying ache in my shoulder. I was also having some light cramping and mild lower back ache. Was informed that all three are perfectly normal in pregnancy. Doctor found no evidence of an ectopic or misplaced implantation.

At 8 weeks, I developed an itchy, hive like rash that started on my thighs and spread to my abdomen, trunk, and arms. The next day I woke up with very swollen and itchy hands and feet along. Half my lips were considerably swollen as well. I was told that I had had an allergic reaction to something though we couldn't figure out what

Yes I'm very sorry but this does look like it. Wear pads and call your doctor/midwife.
